Peplum Tee

I wanted the black and white but could only get the coral color in my size. It's a pretty color and the shirt fit well. It is a rather thin material so it requires a real smooth undergarment. Nice tee shirt at the sale price.

I never met a peplum I didn't like. Until now. The lone reviewer on the long sleeve version says something about there being too much fabric around the hips making them look bulky. I just though she was unfamiliar with how a peplum was supposed to look but she is right about the peplum not really adding anything to the look of your outfit. I think it's because there is not enough of the fitted waist section and the flaring of the peplum starts too high up. There is definitely SOMETHING wrong with the proportions that is detrimental to the look of the garment.
