Hang the box on the wall, slip the sconce onto the box, and use the remote to control the on/off switch, dimmer, and timer settings. Battery life is 180 hours, and the box is water-resistant, so you can use the sconce indoors or out (in a sheltered area). Comes with UL adapter and power cord. Takes 3 D batteries (not included).
