Pure Handknit clothing is made with skill and patience by more than 3,500 women knitters in Chiang Mai, Thailand. All staff members have company-paid healthcare and maternity leave. Company-paid continuing education includes free English classes for all staff, their family, and friends. Excess yarn is donated to nongovernmental organizations and women’s groups.
